The only accepted means of payment is through IFAC Papercept Registration Systems by CREDIT CARD. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are allowed for the payments processed in the IFAC.papercept.net system. For on-site registration both Credit Card and Cash payments will be accepted
The Registration Desk is at Ground Floor in the Majestic Hotel Convention Center. All conference attendees must register. Personal badges will be provided to identify registered participants. Packet pick-up for advanced registrants and on-site registration will be available at the Registration Desk, which will be open from the afternoon of Sunday, September 2, through the morning of Wednesday, September 5. Hours of operation of the registration desk are as follows:

All registered participants will receive full access to the technical sessions, coffee breaks, opening and closing receptions, and one set of conference preprints on a USB flash drive. Full fee registered participants will receive one conference banquet ticket. It will be possible to purchase additional banquet tickets at the Registration Desk.
Refunds: If an author has uploaded a paper using his/her registration, the registration will not be refunded, even if the paper is withdrawn. Those who pre-register and later find they cannot attend the conference may request a refund of the registration fee(s), but a processing fee will be charged as follows.
Requests before July 15, 2018: 80% of the fee will be refunded.
Requests between July 15 and August 15, 2018: 50% of the fee will be refunded.
Requests after August 15, 2018: There will be no refunds.
In the event of it being impossible for the organizers to carry out the Joint 9th IFAC Symposium on Robust Control Design (ROCOND'18) and 2nd IFAC Workshop on Linear Parameter Varying Systems (LPVS'18) for force majeure cases (so long as this arises from a cause not attributable to the organization), the organizers shall only be obliged to reimburse the payments received subject to deduction of any costs it has incurred in preparing the event. This liability only extends to the payments made directly to the organization processed in the ifac.papercept.net and not to payments made by the attendees to the hotel or airlines.
